This network is composed by two motorways (TF1 and TF5), which encircles nearly the entire island. These motorways connect the main towns and beaches with the metropolitan area. It lasts around 2 hours, to cross the entire island by car. There are many companies that rent cars in the Islands like “Car Rental Heathrow”, “Online Car reservation”, “Tenerife Rent a Car” amongst others and the prices are very reasonable (around 30 euros per day in average). If you decide rent a car, you need a driver’s license, a passport and 21 years old.

The prices are very reasonable and you can buy a “Bono Bus” (for 12 or 30 euros) which allows traveling several times, the cost of the journey is deducted from your ticket and you get a discount.
