Weather in Quito


Quito city is located almost 0º latitude and at 2820 meters above sea level, as the most of Andean cities, Quito has mild days (around 26ºC =78ºF at noon) but at night it is cool (around 7ºC = 55ºF). Being the annual average temperature 15ºC=64ºF. Only there are two seasons, the dry season which lasts four months between June and September and the wet season which lasts the rest of the year. 
Nevertheless that not means that during the wet season, it rains every day. During this period it rain more often mainly between February and April but also there are many sunny days; similarly during the dry season some times there are a few rainfalls but usually days in this time are wonderful.
The winds in Quito are relatively mild and the relative humidity is between 67 and 80%. The atmospheric pressure average is 546.44 mm Hg, this pressure is quite low but it should remember that Quito is in the “Andes” therefore it is advisable to take precautions against altitude sickness.
