Quito has long been an important city in South America: it belonged to the ancient Amerindian Quitu tribe, then to the vast Incan Empire, and was conquered by Spain in 1534.
Despite Quito's proximity to the equator, its high altitude lends it a pleasant climate often described as a "permanent spring." The city itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its historic center is considered to be the best preserved in Latin America. The school is housed in a beautiful colonial building, which includes: Video room with speakers, Library, Teacher's meeting room, Auditorium, Solarium, Cafeteria, Multipurpose indoor court for racquetball, volleyball, speed soccer and basketball, Wheelchair access (including bathroom), Elevator, 9 classrooms connected digitally to our schools in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia for interactive activities.

The Academia is registered with and recognized by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education. Certificates are awarded after completion of study, and college credit is available in the United States. Our program is also approved by the Ecuadorian - German Chamber of Commerce and recognized as a Bildungsurlaub in Germany.
