The city has a hot climate almost all year, it say that in Santiago, it always is summer. That is thanks to the single channel ventilation which is the bay and the subtropical location of the city. These factors cause that Santiago has the higher temperatures in the Island every time.

Like the rest of Caribbean zones, Santiago has only two seasons: dry (from November to April) and wet (from May to October). Being July and August the hottest months since the temperatures reach 31.7ºC (89.06ºF) and December, January and February the coldest months when the temperatures can reach 21.12ºC (70ºF). But the annual average temperature is 26.32ºC (79.38ºF) which is very pleasant.

Santiago is a great place for who loves the sun, since usually has 300 sunny days per year and there are several beautiful beaches near the city. Nevertheless sometimes there are some unusual and speed rainfalls because of the subtropical climate.
The average humidity is 71% and the rate of rain is 1238 mm per year.
