Cuba is a Caribbean country then usually enjoys a tropical climate, very pleasant but sometimes very hot and humid; that is because the Island is located in the Tropic of Cancer. The Cuba weather also is influenced by trade winds and marine breezes, which refresh the environment in several Cuban cities like La Havana.

Cuba has only two seasons: the dry season (between November and April) and the wet season (between May and October). Besides, during September and October usually there are some hurricanes. In this period the Island supports winds that go up to 200 Km/h and big storms. Nevertheless hurricanes usually hit the south coast of Cuba and don’t hit La Havana.

In August, it produces the highest temperature, which can reaches to 33ºC (93ºF) and the smallest temperature is 16ºC (61ºF) that it produces in January or February. But the annual average temperature in the city is 25ºC (77ºF).

In La Havana usually, it rains 60 days per year and the annual average rainfall is 1730mm.The greatest rainfalls are mainly between June and September. Besides, the average humidity is around 75%.

If you go to Cuba, bring mainly lightweight like shorts and t-shirts as well as some sweaters and pants; since sometimes at night it is cold mainly in January and February.
