Heredia Nightlife
Heredia is a small town so the nightlife is less than San Jose or Liberia Nevertheless since there are many universities in Heredia, then also there are many bars, clubs and some discos for spent the night for example you could visit “Speed 7 bar”, it has a hot atmosphere from Thursday to Sunday, the bar has got many promotions like “free bar”, “ladies night”, etc. Another great bar is “Rancho de Fofo” which is located to two blocks west to “National University”. The place has two levels and good food.
In front to “Rancho Fofo” is another good bar that has balcony with view to the street. But if you want to dance then on the outskirts of the city in San Pablo is “Coktails”, a club with funky environment, great dance floor, poo, darts and good parking. You can dress the way you feel good (sandals or some ripped t-shirt if you want).
Besides you will be able to drink the local beer (it has very good flavor), the most popular in the country is “Imperial” but there are some others good beers.
The majority of clubs and discos in Heredia as well as whole Costa Rica play mainly “Salsa” and “Merengue” music. The “ticos” (Costa Rica’s citizens) really love dancing and almost everybody dance very good; so it see them to dance is a unforgettable spectacle. You should remember that Thursdays is “ladies night” in all country.
Others goodplaces are: Discoteque Champs (Plaza Heredia), Discoteque Miraflores (centro de heredia), Bar Bonavista (centro de Heredia), Bar Cabuya (Santo Domingo de heredia), Bar & Grill Baalbeck (Los angeles de San rafael).
Another great option mainly if you like theater is “Britt Expressivo”; that is the most important theater company in Costa Rica, which is sponsored by the group Café Britt, a important company of Costa Rica. Britt Expressivo” presents your shows in “Dinosio Theater, that is located in the road to “Barva” to 500m to auto market.
