The city and the surrounding zones are celebrated for their handicrafts which are exhibited mainly the Sundays , The Tarabuco’s market that is situated to 56 Km/35 miles from Sucre City is a good place to start the shopping .There you will can find a great diversity of textiles, hats , pullovers, bags and others things hand-woven.
This typically Bolivian market is one of more important in the country. All Sunday mornings, the buses leave from Sucre towards Tarabuco between 7:00 and 9:00; the bus stop is situated at the corner of “Las Americas” avenue and “Manco Capac” street.The ride lasts one hour half and costs approximately $2.00.
