Cordoba has a large number of museums, galleries and exhibition halls. Where it can to find unique and interesting art’s pieces which have been made mainly by local artist. The Culture in Cordoba is very rich, varied and original.




Museo historico provincial de Sobremonte

 

This big colonial house was constructed in century XVII. The building has 2 floors and 26 rooms. It was property of "El Marquez de Sobremonte", who was intendant of Cordoba before Independence of Argentina in 1810.

 

Museo eclesiastico Dean Gregorio Funes

 

It's a small building turned museum. It excels the "Panzones" balcony, a beautiful colonial piece. An old sun's watch is located in his late wall.

 

Museo de Arte Religioso "Juan de Tejada"

 

Built in XVII century was propriety  of  the “Carmelitas de San José”.This museum offers a pretty exhibition of colonial altars and religious art that includes religious paints and jewerly.

 

Museo Municipal de Bellas Artes "Dr. Genaro Pérez"

 

That works into small palace of French style that was constructed in 1910. This museum has an important collection of Argentine pictures mainly Cordoba’s artists. The collection includes paints and pieces of sculpture.

 

Museo de la Industria

 

It exhibits Cordoba’s industry products like cars, planes in addition to products of Argentina’s north. "La industria" is one of the few museums of this type in Argentina and al South America. Walking into the museum is a time travel through of the industrial Argentine history. It is an enjoyable experience.
