Moscow Nightlife

Probably Moscow’s nightlife is the most exciting and unbridled in Europe, but also it can be one of the most expensive and dangerous. After communism fall the city opened its doors to the world and since then it attracts many top DJs, top models, wealthy entrepreneurs and uncontrolled substances.

Moscow is a beautiful city at night where in addition to the many bars, discos, casinos and nightclubs; there are also a wide variety of cultural entertainment like Opera, Theater, Ballet and much more. Besides, the city is perfectly illuminated creating the ideal back drop to the Moscow nightlife.

Moscow is a city that never sleeps, thus you can eat a midnight burger or buy an electronic device at 6 am; since many stores and restaurants are opened  24 hours.

In Moscow the lap dancing bars are very popular and both men and women attending commonly them without prejudices.

In Russia the minimum drinking age is 18 years old; but you need 21 years old to buy alcoholic drinks (bizarre); being the Vodka (obviously) the most popular drink. Clubs open usually until 6 a.m. and the parties commonly start after midnight.

Moscow has an endless number of bars, discos and nightclubs some of them are:

• 12 Vol, it a nice club at “Tverskaya Ulitsa”, which has a great atmosphere, cool DJs, film screenings, karaoke ands cheap drinks.

 

• B2, a great dancing club, where it can hear life rock performance, this club includes a sushi bar, big screens and several bars; it is located at “Zemlyanoi Gorod”.

 

• BB King , cool bar at 4/2 “Sadovaya- Samotechnaya Ulitsa”, one of the most popular in the city.

 

• Bunker, a nice place to enjoy Rock and pop with an excellent dancing floor, it is located at 28 “Tverkaya St”.

 

• Club Che, this is a popular Latin club in Moscow, here it can hear and dance to the sound of the Latin Music, it is located at “Kitai Gorod”.

 

• Fabrique, it is a nice workshop turned nightclub; it is one of the most popular clubs in Moscow, there it can find a nice dancing floor, life music as well as excellent and famous DJs. Unfortunately, there is a face control and a dress code.

 

• Propaganda, it is a nice music club with a cool dancing floor, it is very popular amongst students artists, gays and young capitalists. It is situated at 7 “Bolshoi Zlatoustinsky Pereulok”

But, Moscow offers also a vibrant cultural life at night, since Russians take very seriously the arts. In the city you can find a wide variety of cultural spectacles, which includes theater, dance, cine, opera and classic music. Most of shows start at 7 p.m. It highlights the famous “Bolshoi” Theater, which has been the showcase for several generations for the main ballet stars of the world. Besides, this theater works inside an impressive building constructed in the XVII century, where there are also opera and classic music spectacles.

Moscow offers in addition to, many cinemas like the famous International Film Center (15 Druzhinnikovskaya Ulitsa), which owns an enormous collection of movies that includes films of all types and countries. It highlights also the Moscow International Film Festival which takes place every year in June and July.
