Weather in Lisbon


Lisbon has one of the best climates of Europe; its climate is mild almost whole year. In spring and summer, climate is warm and dry, with sunny days during all season. In spring temperatures in Lisbon usually fluctuate between 6ºC (43ºF) and 27ºC (81ºF). In summer temperatures can reach until 38ºC (100ºF), but currently they fluctuate between 16ºC (61ºF) and 30ºC (86ºF).

Winters in Portugal are usually short, wet and windy, being the average temperature during this season 10ºC (50ºF), but in winter commonly temperatures fluctuate between 8ºC (47ºF) and 18 ºC (64ºF). The greatest precipitations occurs during this time, with 364 mm (14.2 inches), being the annual rate of rainfall 702 mm (27.4).
Autumn is mild and unsettled with temperatures that range from 8ºC (46ºF) to 23ºC (73ºF). The rates of humidity fluctuate between 51% and 80%. There are around 3300 sunny hours per year and 100 days with rainfalls.
Most people prefer to visit Lisbon during summer between June and September; therefore, during this season, hotels in Lisbon are usually very crowded. If you don't like crowds, you should visit Lisbon at the beginning of spring from April to May.
