Greek courses in Chania
The method
The educational program that our school offers was developed and designed to give the same weight for the four language skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening. It put special emphasis in oral communication which is supported by the help of communicative methods.
Only this kind of teaching is property of our school who offers to the students the best help. Furthermore of used textbooks in class, the school offers audio-visual equipment which displays to the student realistic daily situations. At the same time, using oral practice and written simulation tasks, the students become familiar with the material.
The teachers
The school has teaching university graduates staffs, all of them are native speakers of Greek and have had further training in the teaching of Greek as a foreign language. All tutors have a high academic background and always they are willing to offer their students what is known around the world as Greek hospitality in and out of the classroom. So both the administrative personnel and teaching are always ready to help and make all students feel comfortable.
Course duration
Usually the lessons take place between 9:00 and 1:00 o'clock. The students have a break of fifteen minutes and they can have a Greek coffee at the school coffee shop. In spite of the educational program is not limited by the standard sense of the word "lesson", it's also combined with individual or team projects, visits to museums and walks into the city. So the students have the opportunity to use the library, computer and language laboratories with the guidance of their tutors.

Evening Program
In the program you will have 6/9 hours of lessons per week, approximately 81 hours especially for students who planned to stay for a long period of time or to take Greece as a permanent basis. It contains two hour lessons three times per week in the mornings or in the evenings. Furthermore this program offers to the students 3 hours afternoon class, with two to three times per week. Optional activities are possible to stand out offered without extra cost.
Groups: small groups.
Classes: 6/9 hours per week.
Extended Intensive
In the Extended mode you will have 20 hours of lessons per week. Like the Compact mode, starts at 9:00 or 13:00. Besides the students will have two complementary meals and two educational visits with teachers as escorts. Optionally in addition to Intensive program the students will have 24 hours self access via CD-ROMs in the Labs, 6 hours instead of 3 hours of cooking classes and 2 visits for 2 hours to the museum. Optional activities is possible to stand out offered without extra cost.

Individual 10
During the Individual course, the students who wish to follow a program of private lessons can set the teaching hours and starting dates according to their needs and create to flexible timetable. The program offers to the students 10 hours of classes per week.

Individual 20
During the Individual course, the students who wish to follow a program of private lessons can set the teaching hours and starting dates according to their needs and create to flexible timetable. The program offers to the students 20 hours of classes per week.

Classes: 20 hours per week.
Individual 30
During the Individual course, the students who wish to follow a program of private lessons can set the teaching hours and starting dates according to their needs and create to flexible timetable. The program offers to the students 30 hours of classes per week.

Individual 40
During the Individual course, the students who wish to follow a program of private lessons can set the teaching hours and starting dates according to their needs and create to flexible timetable. The program offers to the students 40 hours of classes per week.
Groups:
Classes: 40 hours per week.
Intensive (compact)
In the Intensive mode or compact mode you will have 20 hours of lessons per week to learn Greek language. The daily program starts at 9:00 and stops 13:00 from Monday to Friday. Depending on the number of students and the language level, the school offers afternoon lessons from 13:00 to 17:00. The students who accede to this program will have free access to Internet of the library, free welcome and farewell material, free educational material (books), optionally they will have 12 hours self access via CD-ROMs in the Labs or watching a video film on the TV, having a meal in a traditional restaurant or 3 hours of cooking classes and 1 visit for 2 hours to the museum Optional activities is possible to stand out offered without extra cost.
