Shopping in Chania is different at least about horary; the hours that stores are open vary by the day. Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, stores are open from morning until early afternoon (approximately 2 pm). On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, stores tend to open in the morning, close at around 1:30 in the afternoon, and then re-open for a few hours later. During the summer months when the tourism is highest, many stores stay open until 9 p.m. However, when tourism is very low – normally during the winter months – the stores sometimes close completely and do not re-open until the spring.

But Greece is quite famous for its original jewellery design and competitive prices, as proved by both ancient and modern of Greece. So jewellery or traditional product will be the perfect gift for anyone on visitor’s way back home. However a walk around all those shops is a nice way to end an evening and look at all the wonderful things which are proposed by this marvellous city.
