Chania Nightlife
Especially at summertime, Chania becomes in a city full of fun and entertainment. A typical day starts with a first drink in one of the beautiful bars of the city then you will find big clubs where you could end your night dancing continuously till sunrise.
Chania proposes an intense, varied and lively nightlife. Modern bars with all kinds of atmosphere and music are available as well as nightclubs, piano bar and dancing. However Chania offer more than that walking around harbour or old town, or maybe wander instead into Chania’s back alleys to see the old Venetian and Turkish remains. Also sit in a quayside café and enjoy a coffee or a drink, or treat yourself ride in a horse-drawn carriage on the harbour. But if you prefer to hear traditional Cretan songs, try to get some café along the harbour. In addition just watch a movie on a warm summer night in an outdoor cinema in Greece, is one of life’s simpler pleasures.
In addition to all of these activities that you could do it in Chania, the summer cultural festival sometimes features dramas, symphonic music, jazz, dance and traditional music. These performances occur from July to September at several venues: Firka fortress, Venetian arsenali and East Moat Theatre are some of them where you will enjoy an amazing spectacle.
