Established in 1913 by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland; The Edinburgh Zoo, the wildest visitor attraction in Scotland, is one of Europe’s leading centres of conservation, education and research.
In just one day you can meet over 1000 rare and beautiful animals in the wonderful new enclosure, Asiatic lions, lemurs, pallas cats, panthers, penguins and you can also enjoy a wide range of visitor facilities, from free Hilltop Safari rides to the top of the hill, two new children’s play areas, restaurants, gift shops and masses of events and activities where not only you can learn about natural animal behaviour but also you appreciate in front your eyes.
Gorgie City Farm

A breath of the countryside in the heart of the city includes pets, goats, ponies, poultry, rabbits, sheep and tortoises. Bring your hamper and set out your spread in the picnic area. Children can enjoy the play areas and the educational Discovery Centre. Birthday parties and group tours can be catered for, and there are vegetable, herb and wildlife gardens to explore too.
Falconry Scotland

The Falcony Scotland provides falconry services from our centres at Jedforest and Dalhousie. Both provides the opportunities for handling falcons, hawks, owls and eagles. Whether you are as an experienced falconer, a beginner, a corporate day, a school visit, a gift, a special occasion or just for fun, this beautiful place will provide you with whatever you need.
Edinburgh Butterfly and Insect World
