Canadian Museum of Flight

This mostly outdoor museum includes such vintage aircraft as the Tiger Moth, Sopwith Camel and Avro Canuck. The 3D-exhibits explain how planes fly and feature a World War II supply plane, the Lysander. The museum also has an extensive collection of books and pamphlets related to aircraft and history of flight.
BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum

This museum is locates in the British Columbia Place Stadium Complex and it houses the most complete collection of artefacts and sports memorabilia in British Columbia. Visitors could try to test their skills in climbing, throwing, racing and riding in the hi-tech Participation Gallery. Sports Hall is dedicated to honour province's athletes, teams and builders of sport. The Theatre History Gallery and The Hall of Champions Gallery commemorates the lives of disabled athletes Terry Fox and Rick Hanson.
HR MacMillan Space Center

This fascinating museum counts with a series of hi-tech learning systems and interactive exhibits that include Virtual Voyages and a flight simulator. The Cosmic Courtyard is an exciting exhibit about the solar system, and Ground Station Canada showcases the achievements of Canada's space program. The Gordon Southam Observatory is a planetary complex open for stargazing. In addition the general admission includes unlimited shows in the H.R. MacMillan Planetarium and GroundStation Canada, unlimited time in Cosmic Courtyard, and 1 ride on the Virtual Voyages Simulator.
Museum of Anthropology

The museum includes one of the largest collections of Haida carvings in the world, as well as an impressive collection of masks, totems, textiles, sculptures, and gold and silver. The highlight of the collection is the sculpture "The Raven and the First Men," carved by the late Haida artist Bill Reid. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore over 15,000 objects from around the world, or wander through Masterpiece Gallery with its intricately carved works in silver, gold, stone and wood.
Vancouver Maritime Museum

Vancouver Maritime Museum houses a fascinating piece of history where visitors will see a ship that sailed the Northwest Passage from BC through Alaska, the Northwest Territories all the way to the Atlantic side and came back across over the Arctic. It was an RCMP boat called the "St. Roch". Also exhibits include an extensive collection of model ships and displays that chronicle British Columbia's seafaring tradition. Pirates Cove and the Discovery Center delight to children who dress up as pirates or build an underwater robot. Visitors will be amazed with the interesting information and interactive shows there are.
Vancouver Museum

Founded in 1894, Vancouver Museum serves as the custodian of Vancouver's history. It is considered the largest civic museum in Canada and embarks upon its second century the past, present and future of this city with its extensive collections in natural history, archaeology, ethnology and Asian arts. In addition the museum includes a life-size replica of a trading post, a 19th-century Canadian Pacific Railway passenger car, and an authentic dugout canoe in its many exhibits that document the history of Vancouver.
