Nitobe Memorial Garden - Vancouver

Nitobe Memorial Garden



A stroll in this garden features a lovely teahouse that is especially beautiful when the cherry trees blossom in the spring, non doubt is an authentic Japanese tea. Garden’s design was based in principles of harmony, balance and tranquillity. Located on the campus of the University of British Columbia has a path that encircles the garden which symbolizes the eternal cycle of life.


Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden



The garden is renowned as being the first of its type. In the construction were used traditional materials from Suzhou, the Garden City of the People’s Republic. It was built with only carefully arranged rocks, wood, plants and water, all without using screws, nails or power tools. Garden’s designs were based in the principles of yin and yang opposites, such as light and dark.


Park and Tilford Gardens



This lovely park has eight spectacular theme gardens: The Display Garden with bulbs and colourful annuals features springtime; a small Pacific style forest which include footpath in the Native Garden; The Oriental Garden with a quiet pond and manicured bonsai trees; and The Rose Garden offers and impressive display of roses.

One of the most popular and best places in Vancouver to have a wedding, you can plan your wedding here and all the arrangements for reception dinner. The best time to visit Stanley Park Rose Garden is in early summer around the end of June, the 4,000 bushes are flowering with over 200 varieties of roses. Important people loved to bring their guests here to sit in the Rose garden and enjoy the good life. The whole of Stanley Park really is a garden and the Rose Garden is like finding a shiny jewel in the middle of it.


Queen Elizabeth Park – Bloedel Floral Conservatory



Considered as a gem of a park, Queen Elizabeth Park features spectacular views of the North Shore, the mountains and skyline of Vancouver. The silver-domed conservatory has diverse climatic zones, which simulates tropical forest, with plants, birds and fishes from South America, Mexico and Africa. Also the park counts with a gift shop, restaurant, mini golf and tennis courts among others features.


University of British Columbia Botanical Garden



This sprawling garden has five different gardens which encompasses more than 70 acres, each of one with a distinctive theme and situated on the grounds. The Asian Garden houses largest collection of Asian plants in North America and features native cedars towering over clematis, lilies, hydrangeas, and more than 400 varieties of rhododendrons. The Native Garden spread across more than eight acres and features more than 3500 native plants of British Columbia.
