Shanghai weather

Shanghai has a climate comparable to that of the southeastern coast of the United States, except that the summer in Shanghai is hotter. Shanghai starts the year shivering in midwinter, when temperatures can drop below freezing. December to February are the winter months, these are typically chilly but not snowy. Spring, from mid-March to mid-May is mild but it is the rainy season. Shanghai is characterized by hot, humid summers (July and August) that make conditions outside uncomfortable because the temperature can reach around 40 ºC (104 ºF). During September to mid-November the days are more comfortable and maybe it is the best time to visit Shanghai, being neither too hot nor too rainy. There could be an occasional typhoon that makes its way toward Shanghai in August, but normally it hit the south of the city so Shanghai only sees a heavy rainstorm from it.
Temperatures range from 2.45 to 30.3 (Celcius).
